Très kitsch et rétro,la musique de Seaside Project évoque l’époque new wave d’il y a quelques années.La voix, très androgyne possède un je ne sais quoi qui fascine et elle me fait penser(Per noi) à Gary Numan par instants.Certes, Seaside Project n’a pas inventé la poudre et pour l’originalité faut écouté ailleurs.Mais pour le fun, c’est extra.

“Ci si affeziona facilmente alle tue sonorità… questo non perchè siano scontate ma perchè fanno affiorare ricordi lontani .. e quando un brano riesce in questa magia ….. è MUSICA vera. sorrido nel leggere che la voce è fuori contesto ….ascoltate quel genio di Steve Strange ed i Visage in pezzi come “In the Year 2525″ e “Damned Don´t Cry” … lui voleva che fosse così … la voce volutamente sommessa … fuori campo … se vi sfugge questo … i Seaside Project non fanno per voi …..”

Seaside Project nous renvoie quelques années en arrière, de l’autre côté du Channel où les groupes, à l’époque, fleurissaient comme des champignons(OMD ou Tubeway Army pour ne citer qu’eux).Et l’artiste est tout à fait dans cet esprit.D’ailleurs la voix(je suis d’accord avec Balhaz intrigante)n’est pas sans rappeler cette époque un peu ambigüe.Et même si c’est effectivement passe partout, c’est terriblement frais et dépaysant.

In the last rainy days I began to record some new tracks for the next Seaside Project’s EP. And everytime it happens, I suddenly re-fall in love for the old school synths like the fabolous Moog’s products. Obviously real 70’s synthetizers are a dream for me, they are really expensive, and I have to be content to play them “virtually”. But one day I’ll own one of these.
I was looking at the flyer I made this afternoon for the next Seaside Project’s show. I shot the pic in 2008 in Thailand… It looks so “Apocalypse Now” style. Isn’t it? So I modified it as a wallpaper to fit my monitor. It looks great!
For those who love acoustic music on Friday evenings, here we are: you’re invited to the first Seaside Project’s concert in 2010. Write it on the calendar! I’ll play some re-arranged covers and some Seaside’s classics. Thanks, as usual, to Fabrizio Straneofficine for the excellent booking service.

Hello dudes! I’m @ home for a while now (no “real” work for a couple of weeks), so I’m working hard on some gorgeous stuff…
First of all:
- pics. I MUST retouch tons of pictures for a “physical” project that will be out soon. I divided the “great” job into two categories: STAGE! and PEOPLE! Down the page you can see some examples of the works.
Second:
- music. I’m recording the tracks for the new Seaside Project’s EP. It will be out (free download) at half January. It will be a 4 tracks album … really 80’s oriented. I began these tracks two months ago, before my pc left me. After its resurrection, I had to re-install the whole software…Hard work, but I’ve been pretty happy when I could listen to the tracks after months!
Third:
- study. Well, I’m keep on studying grammar and graphics for my teaching job. I love it. I must be prepared for my pupils
