Hello dudes! I’m @ home for a while now (no “real” work for a couple of weeks), so I’m working hard on some gorgeous stuff…

First of all:

- pics. I MUST retouch tons of pictures for a “physical” project that will be out soon. I divided the “great” job into two categories: STAGE! and PEOPLE! Down the page you can see some examples of the works.

Second:

- music. I’m recording the tracks for the new Seaside Project’s EP. It will be out (free download) at half January. It will be a 4 tracks album … really 80′s oriented. I began these tracks two months ago, before my pc left me. After its resurrection, I had to re-install the whole software…Hard work, but I’ve been pretty happy when I could listen to the tracks after months!

Third:

- study. Well, I’m keep on studying grammar and graphics for my teaching job. I love it. I must be prepared for my pupils

Tomorrow is the last day of the year! So, I’d like to wish you a GORGEOUS 2010 full of music, pictures and great novels!

Il primo album dei The Novel nasce a soli sei mesi di distanza dalla formazione della band, contiene otto brani cantati in inglese e viene registrato in due sessioni presso Agrimusic Studio di Novara da Steve Gerson.

Canzoni che hanno come filo conduttore il tema dell’amore, talvolta descritto con entusiasmo [10 things I love about you, A dream], talvolta con introspezione e malinconia [The Sky Upon, The Year is over, Think I love her].

Tutti i testi sono autobiografi ci e descrittivi, la scelta dell’utilizzo di un inglese semplice e comprensibile dai più è determinata dal fatto che i the Novel hanno l’ambizione di trasmettere dei messaggi ad un pubblico internazionale.
Un sound british che ricorda gruppi come Coldplay e Blur [The Year is over, The Sky Upon], sfumature punk rock alla Blink 182 [A dream, Happy Lovesong] e riff rock alla The Strokes [Winter : Cold].

Il titolo “Last Day in Heven” è stato scelto per onorare l’importanza delle emozioni e delle sensazioni che si provano quando si è uniti ad un’altra persona, quando ci si vuole bene e si vive con gioia una storia.

Emozioni che spesso sono destinate ad affi evolirsi lentamente per poi scomparire, soprattutto nell’ottica giovanile e tardoadolescenziale.

Per i The Novel è questo l’ultimo giorno in Paradiso, il tempo che intercorre tra il picco di amore più alto provato in una storia d’amore e l’inizio del lento ed inesorabile declino.

Nonostante questa visone romantica dell’amore, il disco propone sovente mood allegri, estivi e spensierati: un analisi a 360 gradi all’interno dei nostri sentimenti.

I The Novel sono: zonk (voce, chitarra e tastiere), Mitti (voce, batteria, synths pad) e Rudelorenz (Basso).
